The rates for usage of the Multimedia Lab facilities in the MSC Malaysia Cyber Centre Incubation Centre has been revised to lower rate for longer usage and a free usage is accorded to students. In addition, creative multimedia developers, MSC Malaysia incubatees, creative multimedia companies and students may prior book the usage of the facilities for free on every Fridays from 10am - 4pm.

Multimedia Lab in the MSC Malaysia Cyber Centre Creative Incubation Centre is now fully equipped with Adobe Creative Suite 3 Production Premium which includes award-winning multimedia software and tools such as Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended, Adobe Illustrator CS3, Adobe Flash CS3 Professional, Adobe After Effects CS3 Professional, Adobe Premiere Pro CS3, Adobe Soundbooth CS3, Adobe Encore CS3, Adobe Bridge CS3, Adobe Device Central CS3, Adobe Acrobat Connect, Adobe Dynamic Link, Adobe OnLocation CS3 and Adobe Ultra CS3.

In addition, the workstations are equipped with 3D software Autodesk Maya Complete 2009 and Autodesk 3Ds Max 2009 to create breathtaking still and motion graphics and comprehensive office productivity suite - StarOffice.

A collaborative set-up of a Mutimedia Lab in Plaza Sentral (Kuala Lumpur Sentral) between Multimedia Development Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (MDeC), Kuala Lumpur Sentral Sdn. Bhd. (KL Sentral) and IM Foremost Sdn. Bhd. (iM) was announced and witnessed by former Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Dato' Seri Jamaluddin Jarjis at the launch of the MSC Malaysia Cyber Centre Creative Innovation & Incubation Centre (CIC).

MDeC shall equip the Multimedia Lab with up-to-date 2D & 3D graphics and animation production software applications, which include Adobe Creative Suite Production Premium, Autodesk Maya Complete and Autodesk 3Ds Max. KL Sentral in turn, provides the most centralized location complete with broadband infrastructure. iM via CG Skill Centre is responsible at the administration, operation and management of the Multimedia Lab. iM ensures the lab is complete with sufficient software and hardware, and that it successfully reaches out to the key target groups, which include talents from creative multimedia industry, MSC incubatees, MSC Malaysia Status companies, small to medium enterprises, students, educationists, art practitioners, media or government departments, etc.

Available 24/7, the facilities at the centre is affordable and carefully designed to cater for different target groups at various tiered rates and complete usage of all facilities within the Multimedia Lab, whereby students from creative multimedia background from public and private institutions of higher learning may use the facilities for free.
